Proteus is the first humbucker pickup designed by Gus G & his team in order to match his needs for his Metal playing style that requires powerful rich tone and expressive feel. The pickup can be used and wired as passive or active, as it comes with a high output, low-noise preamp that gives enough kick and distortion, with well balanced EQ and rich harmonics that respond perfectly to picking attack and dynamics.
